Greetings From A Teenage Alien

Lately i've been so afraid of getting older. I think about all the stupid things I never did in my teenage years and realize, they'll be over soon.

Anti-social, destructive, free, confused, angsty, radical, stupid, lovesick, alone, rebellious, spiteful.....sometimes I catch myself hoping that i'll never lose having these feelings at the kind of magnitude one experiences them as a teenager. Sure, most the time it sucks, but everyday is a day I can say, "I'll never be this young again, so bring it on."

And so, in spirit of being young and perserving the small yet signifigant, unique teenage years,

I present to you, The Guide On How To Be A Teenage Alien by me, A Teenage Alien.

Dye your hair various amounts of colors just to make a statement that you, are indeed rebellious and unpredictable.

Rejoice in the times when a stupid idea, seemed like the smartest thing to do.

Sneak out at least once or twice a week.

Obsess over something.

Deck out your room in the only way appropriate. That is, not appropriate at all.

Wear something slightly inappropriate to school just to spite everyone.

Have the most epic, teen love affair known to man kind. Love fiercely.

Party unil you can't.

Be completely shameless.

Eat whatever you want, whenever you want.

Pierce anything and everything.

A little vandalism never hurt.

Above all, be free. Be mentally, physically and spiritually free. Never again will you have the kind of relentless energy that comes with being a teenager and never again, will you ever be this young.

Ivory Jar Clothing: Grunge Princess

Just another great discover via internet, Ivory Jar is a clothing company designing clothes and accessories for the cosmic gypsy. From religious motifs and spikes, to pink hair and headresses, it's the perfect harmony of pastel vomit and hardcore bliss.

Music: Witch House

If you're kind of a morbid hipster kid that spend too much time on the internet and wears all black, you probably listen to Witch House. (I listen to Witch House...)
Witch House is a name coined by artists creating occult-based house music. Usually it consists of slowed down hip-hop beats and house music. Overall, it sounds like a soundtrack to a grunge kid's séance. It's sooooo good.
Let them educate you:

All Hail The Blowfish Queen

I'm baaaackk bitchesss!

After a two month hiatus, I have finally mustered up the courage to return to the land of the internet for some religious fashion blogging (though, for some reason I failed relentlessly to neglect my Tumblr). Within the last two months, let's just say I went MIA little bit what with there only being a few, short, last months of me being 17 (now i'm supposed to be....an adult??) I spent those months sitting on my ass, on Tumblr, running around until the early hours of the morning being a complete, nasty teenager and all other sorts of shennnanigans but the celestial lights of blogging have beckoned me back.

Here's a sample plate of what i've been doing (or not doing):

My grandma shall, still looking white and clean before the Festival of Colors.

I know how much all of you enjoy seeing pictures of me stuffing a cupcake in my mouth so, I thought i'd just throw that in there.

So Blogspot, will you please take me back? I promise to blog only the most bad ass, most mind blowingly innovative shit this site has ever seen.

Sincerely, The Blowfish Queen

Teenage Bedroom

Just came across this incredible Tumblr that pays tribute to the grungy, rotten pizza ridden, drug pharephenlia strewn, glittery, all American, place that is the Teenage Bedroom.

Anyone who's ever been a teenager would understand the contents in which this blogger so perfectly provides. In every bedroom that is submitted by the blogs followers, you see stories of the holy, awful, yet perfectly f***ing awesome, short years of being a teenager.

So before you enter, be sure to ask, Can I Come In?

"An0ther Mag" to Inspire The Fashion Blogger

Alas! Another great discovery via internet. I'm currently in the process of acquiring this beautiful publication. I love the Alexander McQueen piece by Catherine Sullivan. It certainly transports you to at least a sample of the nightmares and hauntings of McQueen, which in turn became his greatest work.

Obviously, i've been MIA for sometime now...I finally graduated from the wretched insane asylum called High School, but even after I suppose my spirit needed a vacation from being continuously crushed for five days a week. This so called "vacation" mostly just consists of me developing the sleep patterns of a vampire (with help from the furry black beast which is my cat), wandering the streets at all hours of the night (in hopes of knowing more of this small city although it's starting to seem impossible because there isn't much of it I haven't seen), and being seventeen for as long as I can. I wonder what i'll regret doing or not doing later on...? But for now that's not something I suppose I should think about.
